Good Day!
You know everyday we wake up is a good day!! We have got to make the best of what we got!! Everything has been so blah and up in the air, I have forgotten to be grateful for all the things I have. My family, my friends and all the beauty that surrounds me everyday!! I need to slow down and remember all the people who fight for our country, the police officers putting their lives on the line day to day, the firefighters saving our homes, and all the people working in the medical field, so we can stay.....,healthy. Well, I just feel grateful today, I should remember to thank God everyday, for all I have. To all my friends and family, I am very grateful to have you in my life. I love and respect you all. I am sorry if I don't tell you that enough!!

Been A While
Well, I thought I would stop by and say Hello!! I have been really running crazy lately. Steve finally passed his kidney stone. Poor guy, he was in so much pain. Thank God he didn't have to have surgery. I did go to the attorney and I didn't make enough money in the certain quarters to draw any disability. Oh well, we will be OK, we always are, it will just be tight for a while. While Steve was in Modesto at one of his Doctor appointments, I ended up going to their Urgent Care, because of extreme stomach pain. I had recently had a colonoscopy. They didn't find anything. Thank God. But the stomach pain persist. I went back to my GI, and he thinks I have IBS., and I am lactose intolerent. Damn never realized how many things have lactate in them!! So, for four weeks I have to be lactose free to see how my stomach feels and have a CT scan, to check my Gallbladder. Wow, what a ride August was!! Hoping for a calmer September!! At least, my Bday is coming, hoping Steve and I can afford to at least go out to dinner. It would be great to get away, but, I really doubt that's gonna happen.
This past weekend I went to my great nephew's bday party, it was nice. I will be sharing pictures soon!
I hope everyone is doing well. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I will keep you posted on my stomach condition. Darcie and Kary I appreciate the thoughts and prayers...., right back at you!!!! And to all who read my blog!!

I really wish I could afford to come visit on my bday, all of us could celebrate together. Natalie and I could be the bday Queens!!!! LOL! Miss you all, WB ASAP!!

One day at a time!!
My poor husband has been hurting with kidney stones. He has been in some serious pain for two weeks tomorrow. He saw a Urologist today, and he may have to have surgery if the stones don't start passing. The poor guy can't get a break. He just want's the pain stopped. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
I have my appointment with a attorney tomorrow. My appt., is to find out if I can draw disability. I hope he has some good news for me. Steve and I could really use the money. We can't continue paying out all this money on my Bi-Polar medication. It breaks down to about $300 every month or so, depending on whether or not my Doctor has samples to give me. Hope there is some way of doing something.
A little up-date on my brother Paul. He actually stayed a few nights at home by himself. His wife and kids went camping and my brother didn't want to go. He didn't mind if they went. WHo knows maybe he wanted some alone time. Anyway, he did very well. His wife Tiffany, was only 10-15 minutes away, so she came during the day to check on him. They had left him some Tv dinners. Well, she went to check on him, and he didn't want the TV dinner, and he had made himself some eggs and hashbrowns. I was so happy!! He is still not walking, and he has chose not to continue physical therapy, because afterward he is so soar he feels like he has to start all over. It is his decision, so I support him no matter what. I have'nt seen him in about 3 weeks. But, for him to have shredded those potatoes by himself, that is great!!!!!!!!!! His hands and arms are working better for him. I plan on going out to see him this weekend. He still doesn't like talking on the phone because if you don't understand him, he gets really frustrated. When you see him in person, he can point or use his hands to help you understand. His wife, has actually went back to work part time. Pauls mother-in-law, lives with them she doesn't work, so she helps take care of Paul, and in return, she has a place to live. Her and Paul are really close so it works out really well. I will let you all know how well it is really going after I go out and visit him! Please always keep him in your prayers! The prayers have definately helped so far. Thanks!!

Never Enough
Why is it no matter how much money you make it is never enough? It gets so exhausting, wondering how you're going to pay your bills, and buy school clothes. I know there is no way to change what is, but it just makes me nervous!! It would be so nice to just be able to go school shopping, or to the grocery store, and just get what you need, and not worry, how much is going into the cart, what should I put back? I don't want to buy shit I don't need, you know just the basics!!
I finally made a appointment with an attorney. I want to find out what and how the laws work as far as disability. I have been unable to work for many years. My friends know, I have suffered from depression, extreme anxiety, and Bi-Polar disorder. I have filed for disability years ago. I applied two times, they denied me both times. I never fought it. They told me I hadn't worked enough hours in that quarter, to draw any disability. Well, of coarse I hadn't. I would try to work, and was always unable to keep the position due to mood changes, and anxiety. I don't think I should be penalised because of my inability to work. I did work cleaning the offices, where my husband works for about a year. The only reason I was able to do that, is because Steve, and the boys went with me and helped me. There was no one there at the time but us. There was nothing or no one to make me nervous, but I didn't take any social security out of our checks, because we were only making about $4Io a month. I hope the attorney, has some news that will help. As I mentioned before, my medication is very expensive and it is causing us a hardship, as far as our bills. If I have to have them filled, the cost together is $304 a month. I called Steve's insurance company, they offer prescriptions by mail, so I signed up for that, I will get three months of med, for what I am paying for one month now. I am relieved, that will help some!!
I was told, that SS denies you, you may be able to draw on your husbands SS. I don't want to do that, but, at this point at least until we can get our heads above water it would be a blessing. I see the attorney on Monday. It doesn't cost me anything unless they win my case. The only thing I have to pay out of pocket, is for the copies of my medical records. WOW, there is allot of those. I hope all the headache is worth it and I get some good news!! I know there has to be allot of people getting disability, that really don't need it, or that are just getting it because they are faking some kind of back injury or what have you. I sort of feel like a looser going to do this, but we really need some help. I could have done it years ago, but I just kept putting it off, because of that reason. Why can't I just work like everyone else? If I have to get disability I am a waste to society, living off of other peoples money. I am still really having a hard time!! I am going to talk to this attorney, just to hear if I have any options, or if it is definitely a no. The SS office, had once told me, that I couldn't draw it because of Steve's income. For a family of four we were right at what we could have coming in, and I didn't qualify. Maybe that will be the case. But I have decided to find out if I have any options. If not, nothing lost. It is a free consultation. We will go on as normal. If there is something I can do, I really need to do it. It is so unfair to my sweet Husband, to struggle so much on his own to take care of us. It really hurts me, and makes me feel even worse. I am nervous to go talk to an attorney. It makes me very nervous. I am going to try to in list a friend, to go with me. I am hoping Melanie, can come along. Steve can't because of work. Well, I suppose I have vented enough, and shared my newest endeavor. I hope all goes well. Keep me in your prayers!

Saturday.
Not doing much today. I am kinda restless. Don't really want to take a nap, don't want to clean. It's to hot outside to do any rose gardening. I already had lunch. I guess I could read, but no. I hate when I get in this mood. I know what would help SHOPPING THERAPY!!! It's really unfortunate that I can't afford to shop for frivolous things I don't need right now. Damn it!!!! Well I will get to shop sometime tomorrow. Tyler has senior pictures and we need to find him a nice jacket to wear. The jacket will be just for the yearbook photo. All the other photos, and poses he can wear whatever he wants. I think that is a little crappy, your paying for the photos, so to me they should also be able to wear what they want in the yearbook photo!! Rules are rules I suppose. Just, like everything else in the world, follow the rules, be good!! Blah, blah blah!! It gets so damn boring, doesn't it????? Time for girls night out!! Let our hair down, and just dance, and be wild!!! Sounds good, I don't know if my feet could keep up!!! My sister and I, have been taking line dancing classes. We hit and miss them depending on the heat. We take them at this cute ol country club, called Nashville West. It's really fun, and a great work out. We didn't make it last week, my sister had the flu. Hopefully, this week we'll make it. My sister is trying to talk me into going out with her tonight, I should. but, you know she's single, and it just a little uncomfortable dancing with some stranger when your married. My hubby is totally cool with it, I just wish I could get him to go with us!! Once he is out, he has a lot of fun, it's just getting him out there. I have to say, it's even hard getting me out there. I use to be the one, getting all the plans laid out for all us girls. I guess it's just my age or the fact it takes so long to get ready. I don't know, but today, is just a I don't wanna kinda day!! You have to realize though, with me, that means nothing!! My sister or Darla, Kary or any other close friend could call and I might change my mind and say Hell Yes, Lets GO!! Hence,........my email address, Cantdecide67@hotmail.com. What ya'll doing out there, this wonderful Saturday afternoon????
Got any ideas? I think I pretty much covered what there is to do. If you got any ideas, bring them on!!
Till Then, ??????

Life Happens!
Isn't it strange how no matter what is going on around you, good or bad, life continues to move on? It can move on with you or with out you, it has no preference! I have really been thinking about this a lot lately, do, to a lot of my friends, my brother, and others around me, really struggling, just to make it day to day. They are facing, things anywhere, from finding out whether their husband has breast, and skin cancer, to being able to verbally communicate, and walk once again!!! Some are still grieving the loss of loved ones, while others are celebrating the birth of new lives coming into the world!! The thing that is so mind boggling for me is that it can all be happening at the same exact time. All of these things, on the same exact day, at the exact same time, to people all around the world. I know logically we all know this, but I think we forget those who really need an extra smile, a short phone call, (which I myself fall very short of.) A quick hug, or just letting them no we are there for them! It seems so many or going through so much. The times have gotten a lot tighter, things are more expensive, and a lot of people feel things won't get any better. Today, I have to say, God isn't suppose to give us more then we can handle. God must think we are a lot stronger, then we think we are. He really gives us the shadow of a doubt. So many bad things happen to good people. I always say there is a reason for everything that happens, but, sometimes it is really hard to believe that, especially when I spend the day with my brother. He has to struggle everyday just to do the simplest things. I am hurt, sad for him, and very angry!! I struggle with my own demands from day to day, I know we all do. Can it just stop, for a little while,..... a break from bad news, bad times, bad thoughts. Just stop and be silent, and be able to enjoy the beauty all around us, without any of the bad ruining the view??? I know from time to time, we all go through rough patches. If only, when those things happen, you get time off the clock, a time out to catch up, let your mind, compute what's going on! But, that isn't how life works!! No matter the situation, you have to make what you can of it, and move on, cause life happens, ready or not!!
