Well, It's been a while. I thought I would just check in, and say Hello. My Brother Paul, is doing a little better. He is not walking yet, he can a little with his walker. but not much. We just helped him move into a single story apt., he was in a two story, and the shower was upstairs, made it hard for his wife and mother in law, to get him upstairs to take a shower. The new apt., has two bathrooms both with full showers. It's much better, for him. It is bigger, and he can move about in his wheel chair much easier. He is still doing physical therapy. It is two days a week, so all the hope is in it just taking time for him to get the rest of his speech back, and be able to get rid of that wheel chair!! Keep him in your prayers!!
My cousin Mike, just had knee replacement surgery on the 10th. He is at home, making good progress, I called today, and he seemed like he was in allot of pain. He goes to the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully they give him something a little stronger for the pain. I guess there is some kind of machine he has to use on his knee and it makes it hurt. Hoping for a speed recovery for him also!! Keep him in your prayers too!!
One of my oldest and dearest friends Darla, is finally home, recovering from two surgeries herself!! She went into the hospital, with side pain, they found cyst on her right ovary they had to remove, and they removed her appendix, while they were in there. She had some complications, to make a long story short, she ended up with blood left in her abdominal area, and had to have another surgery to have it removed! She was in and out of the hospital 3 times before they finally got everything taken care of. What a ordeal!! She is finally recovering. Thank God!! Please keep her in your prayers as well!!
One more prayer request, another friend of mine mother is in the hospital with 3 brain tumors, that are not operable, and she is on the strongest of chemo., of course they want to put a time limit on her life, but, that is just unacceptable!! It is my friend Dawn's mom. She is a very close friend of Darla's so is Dawn's mom Ethel, that's is who I am speaking of. It has been very hard on Dawn and her whole family!!! Let's please pray for Ethel, that these brain tumors be healed, and for strength for Dawn, and her family and friends!! What a sad and emotional ride. Dawn herself just got through Hotchkens
LYmpoma Her mother and her are very strong. I pray they continue, especially Ethel, to fight the good fight, may God be with them and keep them!! Amen!
Well, now to little ld Well, I am as good as can be expected!! Actually better, due to all that has gone on in my life the past few months. I have no complaints, with where I am and how I am doing!! My kids and husband are healthy, we have a roof over our heads and food to eat and allot of love!!!!!!!!! SO, I am doing GREAT! So many people going through so much, it just make me realize how important life is. We need to keep in touch with all our friends and family, let them know how much we love them, and really have compassion for others. You just never know what they might be going through!!
I started writing this originally to vent about my father, but after everything that's been said here, I well save that for tomorrow!!
Corinna, I love and miss you, let's set up a time to get on the phone, I will call you. When do you have some serious down time, I need to taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalk!!

Hi girl. MISSING YOU. Thank you for calling and checking up on Mikey. Yes, he has been in a lot of pain. He did get his staples and a what stitches he did have out today. No they did not give him anything else for the pain. We had Monique here helping him, but he wanted me to send her home. She had the 3 yr old grandson with her and he is very active and it was making Mike very nervous. He has been a pain in the butt and driving us all nuts, probably cuz he is going nuts stuck in this house. He keeps saying "take me somewhere, I need to get out of here". I took the rest of today off and asked him where he wanted to go, but he did not leave. He actually had me put on his shoes and was either going to try to go to Tanner's track meet or hang at your house or Alicia's house, but then decided he could not go. He is still supposed to use that wretched machine that he hates, but has not done it today or on Monday. It is supposed to make his recovery faster. He starts physical therapy next Tuesday, 3X a week for 6 weeks. So he is going to be hard to live with for a while. Tanner and I are going to Asparagus Festival this weekend (I won tickets). Tanner got his best time in the 400 today, 1:11. He did not want to run, said his legs and stomach hurt, but he did well. The coach told him he would have to stick with it, not what he wanted to hear. He would love it if someone besides just me could go to watch. He even asked me who I had invited. His next one is Tuesday at Downey High at 3:30. My mom is coming down May 6th. She just closed escrow on a house in Texas, no one but her and Bill is happy about that. She invited Tanner to come visit her in the summer and he said he would like to go. We are planning to go see Mike's mom around July 4th-12, she turns 70 the 6th or 7th and it would be nice if we visited her. As long as we have the money we will be going. Might have to camp out instead of stay at hotel, but we will be there. Sorry so long, just catching you up.

Tanner up! Thanks so much for letting him go!! Yea that machine must be painful, he was telling us about it the day we were there. Tyler and I will come to the next one. We were gonna go today, but I just didn't feel well. It must be allergies or something!! Miss ya too! Gonna have to hook up for lunch or a drink. Maybe I will come by one night this week. Steve has been having to go out with a Suit, from Portland every night, until he leaves.
So, I will call first.

Happy Mothers day to you. I wanted to get a chance to come by and see you today, just did not happen. Hope your boys treated you good. Tanner bought me an MP3 player, with his own money. He is so sweet! If I don't see you before then, hope to see you Saturday for Lupe's confirmation party.
